Spud In The Box
Spud In The Box is a six-piece alternative rock band from Mumbai.
Since their formation in 2011, the band has gone ahead and garnered popular and critical acclaim for their tight, energetic live performances and accessible songwriting. The band strikes a perfect balance between intricate musical arrangements and catchy melodies.
SitB has played at some of the most popular music festivals in India, such as - A Summer's Day, Bacardi NH7 Weekender, The Kala Ghoda Festival,The Pepsi MTV Indies launch, Live from the Console, India Music Week, The M.A.D. Festival, Ragasthan, Revival of the Bandstand Festival and Celebrate Bandra Festival. They were also the first act to play atop the Red Bull Tour Bus in India.
Besides having opened for Grammy award winning artist Norah Jones, in their short 4 years of existence they have managed to played alongside some of the biggest names in Indian Independent music like The Raghu Dixit Project, Indus Creed, Scribe, Shaa'ir + Func, Soulmate, Junkyard Groove, Nikhil D'souza, Ankur Tewari, Blackstratblues and many more.

‘Attention, Please!’ by Spud In The Box
ABOUT:
After long hours of writing, rewriting and deliberating Spud In The Box got into a studio with producer K.J Singh and tracked 4 of the songs they felt were the most prepared out of their repertoire.
The result became the 4 track EP ‘Attention, Please!’
The EP gained critical as well as popular acclaim for it’s mature sound, intricate arrangement and melodic, layered harmonies. The band has since gone on to play shows at various venues and college festivals all over the country.
SitB is currently working on finishing up their debut album, which is slated for a release in the latter half of 2015.
